Regional Sales Operation Manager, Asia Pacific (based in Hong Kong)

General Competencies

This position requires previous experience with implementing Sales & Operations Planning and execution, ability to lead a team of various function within Operations, knowledge in both the APAC retail environment as well as some key Mobile and Computer OEM providers in APAC is an advantage, good analytical skills, good communication skills in both Chinese and English, ability to work in a team and with cross functional team both in APAC and in the US.

People carried Sales Operation Manager role in any fast moving Consumer Electronics product industry will be ideal (e.g. Camera, Printer, PDA, Mobile Phone Handset, Memory Card, Harddisk Storage)

Responsibilities:

Managing Sales operations support for both OEM and Retail APAC Sales, managing operations commitments for both OEM and Retail APAC Sales including special projects or efforts with Strategic Customers, and managing, when necessary, allocation priorities for APAC products following corporate allocation guidelines.

Responsible for managing the Operations functions in the APAC Sales Office which include Demand Planning, Sales Operations, and Sales Operations Execution in our Retail Fulfillment center in Asia.

Responsible for weekly Retail Sales & Operations Planning process.

Responsible for outlining and managing sample requests for new customers, products or new business opportunities, escalating and expediting supply or NPI issues when customer commitments are jeopardized and achieving world class levels of sales support to both retail and OEM sales teams and their customers.

Indirect responsibility for coordinating other WW Operations functions for both OEM and Retail sales teams including Demand Planning Fulfillment, Logistics, Supply Availability, business planning, and operations strategic initiatives.

Key customer relationships to be supported include Key Retail and OEM distributors in APAC – Major Retailer Chain Stores across Asia Pacific, OEM customers such as HTC, LG, Samsung and more.

Serve as trusted business partner to both Retail and OEM APAC Sales Directors.



Requirements

Based in Hong Kong

Fluent in English

Requires past experience with demand planning, Order management and Order Execution

Able to analyze data to provide a coherent picture to the APAC Sales team on their demand - supply disconnects.

Able to understand root cause for process disconnects and work with the relevant departments to adjust the work processes.

This position requires a BA or MA in Industrial Engineering or other supply chain related degrees, MBA is an advantage.

The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment.

Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people.

A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team

People management skills - This post will lead a team of 10 people in HK/China offices
